Firefighters put their weight on hoses at the Elder Court Apartment fire. Tons of water were poured on the flames in and resulted in low or no water pressure to some neighborhoods served by the same water reservoirs. One fireman was hurt when a high-pressure hose got out of control and struck him in the back.
