This illustration is from a souvenir book of Council Bluffs scenes printed about 1900.  It includes little history of the building.  The Nonpareil&#039;s files show this new theater followed the condemnation of the original Dohany Opera House located on Bryant Street between Broadway and Vine streets in 1894.  Both the Dohany show houses were the local show places for nationally-known actors.  The booklet is from a collection of Ken I. Wolfe, 301 N. 1st St.]]></dcterms:description>
