Cockle photographed this scene standing on a locomotive about 300 yards from the fire.  It was taken about 5 minutes after the initial blast.  The semi-tractor trailers in the foreground were moved between railroad tracks away from the elevators.  Many of the cars and trucks were damaged by fire and falling debris.
